 Cherryville is a thriving city located in the western piedmont region of North Carolina in the northwest corner of Gaston County and on the western edge of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Metropolitan Area. The City of Cherryville is a full-service City with operations which include a water distribution system, water treatment plant, wastewater collection system, wastewater treatment plant, an electric distribution system, an extensive parks system, and well-equipped Police and Fire Departments.

Fire Hydrant Flushing Notice
Beginning the week of May 7th, 2012 and finishing on or about May 12th, 2012, and during the hours of 8:00am to 8:00pm the City of Cherryville employees will be flushing fire hydrants in the City of Cherryville to make sure they are in good working order in case of emergencies and to help flush sediment out of the distribution system. This helps insure the quality of our water.
